Recognition of the Vola design
Not long after production began a Vola tap was awarded the ID-prize for it's excellent design. International recognition soon followed with a Vola shower being selected for exhibition in centres of architecture and design such as Museum of Modern Art, New York Kunstgewerbemuseum, Cologne Cincinnati Art Museum, Cincinnati, Neue Sammlung, Munich to mention just a few.
During Vola's 35 years of production, technical tap and shower specifications have been constantly up-dated in order to meet the requirements of market and material changes. Any product developments have been made on the condition that the Vola tap design remains unchanged. With a distribution network of over 25 countries, success in sales has been the reward for this firm company policy. In 1995 Vola received the ID Classics Prize. This was awarded on the grounds that not only is Vola still in production but 'as regards the idea, Vola taps and Vola showers looks exactly the same today as 25 years ago.'
